Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is a five–star quality rating and improvement system administered by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed licensing health and safety regulations. The program standards are based on national research identifying standards which lead to improved outcomes for children.
Through Step Up to Quality, we take the state laws and go above them following additional regulations and guidelines to provide the best possible care for our children. We use Creative Curriculum throughout the center to help guide children in their learning process. With Creative Curriculum, learning is done through studies and investigations that allow the children to learn through play. Through Step Up to Quality, we provide screenings for your child based on their age to help guide our planning process. With Ages & Stages, parents are given a series of questions to answer based on their child's developmental age which the teacher then uses to build on the child's strengths and improve their weaker areas.
Our centers have worked hard to achieve our first star on the rating scale! We are working towards earning more stars and our goal is to be highly rated soon!
